DENSO Tool-making Workshop
The tool-making workshop was established at the outset of series production in Denso Manufacturing
Czech s.r.o in 2003. The original idea behind establishing the workshop was to ensure series production in the company in case of waiting times resulting from sudden breakdowns of production equipment caused by mechanical failure. In such cases it was necessary to have a flexible response to the demands connected with the production of spare parts.
The main focus of the tool-making workshop is the production of small cutting tools, injection moulds and devices, and also the production of all spare parts for these tools, including transfer spare parts, with shape grinding on a CNC profile grinder.
All produced parts go through demanding output controls.
The tool-making workshop together with the company went through a certification process ISO/TS 16949:2002 and ISO 14001.
As we gain more experience and expand the machinery equipment, we are able to offer spare production capacity to external companies – working together through cooperation.
